COLLECTING DATA…

If in the last post we mentioned that the team needed to polish some details about our project … now that PROBLEM IS SOLVED!!!!! After a great interesting meeting with our project partner, now we know which direction to follow with our project.
The problem -> Kyröskoski, a sub-area of Hämeenkyrö, is declining economically. The reasons? Many of the inhabitants, while working outside the area, decide to use services and get the products they need somewhere else. Plenty of the shops and businesses are now closed in the area, and those spaces remain abandoned, waiting to be renovated and used again so as to attract people to the area and make it more lifeful.
The project goal -> Kyröskoski revitalization! The area needs to be improved, by through town participation. This means that some participatory strategies need to be performed, so as to motivate people to collaborate in town issues, and provide their opinions and ideas. This way, it is possible to obtain some local initiatives to revitalize the town created by the inhabitants of the town , the ones who suffer the problem and might have the best ideas to solve it.
The team has now an overall idea of the problem and how the project partner would like to solve it. But an overall idea is not enough, and still inhabitants need to be listened and participate...what is actually going on in Kyröskoski?
To answer this question, the team prepared some written and online questionnaires for the inhabitants of Kyröskoski, to ask them their opinions about this declining moment the area is experiencing. In addition, a special questionnaire was prepared to our key stakeholders. And now...it is the moment to analyze all the answers received! The team is going now through all the questionnaires at the moment, and soon we will know what people of Kyröskoski actually want to say!

We will inform you soon about how this process is going on, but we can say now that the answers look great! :D
Best regards… and VISIT KYRÖSKOSKI !!!!!!!! :D
